Brian Tooley Racing is proud to introduce the latest addition to an already impressive lineup of Gen III/IV LS turbo camshafts. The 400+ Truck Turbo camshaft was developed for customers running a 400-427 cubic inch turbocharged combination. Designed to be used with smaller twins or single turbos in the 70-78mm range for use in mild towing or daily driven truck/SUV applications. This camshaft will help your stroked turbo combination produce additional horsepower throughout the curve, while delivering excellent street manners and great turbo responsiveness. As with all BTR offerings, these cams were designed to help achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
- Camshaft only: BTR 400+ LS Turbo Truck Cam by itself.
- Steel Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: BTR 400+ LS Turbo Truck Cam plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods, 7.400" long with .080" wall.
- Titanium Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers.
- Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt.
Note:
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be required.
