Fits 1999-2013 LS-Based V8 Engines 5.3L 5.7L 6.0L 6.2L (up to 2015 in Camaro and CTS-V)

This new version of BTR's Stage 1 PDS camshaft makes more power and torque everywhere in the curve compared to their previous legendary PDS cams. Developed in house, their engineers went back to the drawing board and found more power and torque even with the use of less intake duration. These new BTR lobe designs were Spintron and Engine Dyno tested to achieve the highest overall power curve while also maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards. This is a great camshaft for those wanting the power production of a typical Stage 2 camshaft, yet desire slightly better driving manners and low end power. Will work great with any positive displacement supercharger on 5.3L-6.2L engines. Will work with stock torque converters in 6.0L-6.2L applications.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
- Camshaft only: BTR PDS Stage 1 Torque Camshaft by itself.
- Steel Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: BTR PDS Stage 1 Torque cam, plus BTR Platinum .660" Dual Spring kit with Steel Retainers, Valve Seals, and 7.400" Chromoly Pushrods, 5/16" x .080" wall.
- Titanium Retainer Spring Kit with Pushrods: Includes the above, but with an upgrade from Steel to Titanium Retainers.
- Gasket kit: Includes Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal and new damper bolt.
Note:
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be required.
- DOD/AFM engines will require a conversion to conventional lifters.
