Introducing the CHOPacabra NSR (No Springs Required) camshaft! This is a nasty little beast of cam. Designed to work with the stock factory valve springs and a factory torque converter. If you're looking for that mean, snarling sound and performance that will leave your opponent second guessing what they just saw...this is it! This camshaft will gain 60hp on 5.3L applications despite the lower lift lobes that will work with stock valve springs.
This No Springs Required version of the Chopacabra is a good option for people who don't mind sacrificing 7-10 horsepower to save the expense and labor of installing valve springs when doing a camshaft swap. Not recommended for use on high mileage engines with tired valve springs.

- Camshaft Only: Texas Speed Chopacabra NSR Camshaft by itself.
- Gasket Kit Option: Includes Timing Cover Gasket, Water Pump Gaskets, Damper Seal, and Crankshaft bolt.
Please note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete.
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be required.
