Texas Speed's Stage 1 LS3 Supercharged Camshaft has conservative duration for a mild lope at idle and excellent driving characteristics. This camshaft is a great choice for automatic transmission owners who want to retain the factory torque converter, or for manual transmission owners wanting strong power in the low-mid RPM band while still making great gains up top compared to the factory camshaft. We recommend this camshaft for all LS engines using LS3/LSA style rectangular port cylinder heads.
Our kit options eliminate the guesswork and include:
- Camshaft Only: Texas Speed LS3 Stage 1 Supercharged Camshaft by itself.
- Camshaft, Spring Kit with Titanium Retainers and Pushrods: Includes the TSP LS3 Stage 1 Supercharged Camshaft, Dual .660" Polished PAC Springs, Titanium Retainers, Valve Seals with Integrated Spring Seat, and 7.400" long 5/16" diameter Chromoly Pushrods.
- Gasket Kit Option: Includes Timing Cover Gasket, Water Pump Gaskets, Damper Seal, and Crankshaft Damper Bolt.
Please note:
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD/AFM delete.
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit will be required.
