Combination G Meter + Chassis Angle Sensor for MaxxECU – ACAS+X

This is a combination accelerometer and wheelie-management sensor for MaxxECU only.
This sensor communicates to the ECU via CAN Bus. It is ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH MaxxECU.
ACAS+X sends 4 high speed CAN data channels to your MaxxECU: Chassis Angle, Pitch Velocity, X Acceleration and Corrected X Acceleration.
Chassis Angle is the Pitch or wheelie angle of the chassis, Pitch Velocity is the rate of change of Chassis Angle. Pitch Velocity has shown to be more useful than Chassis Angle alone for power management. Observing realtime velocity of your chassis is far more useful than the chassis angle itself!
Raw X-Accel is the normal X-Axis accelerometer (G-meter) data, uncorrected for chassis angles. Corrected X-Accel is a corrected acceleration figure that produces more consistent data car to car and pass to pass than raw, uncorrected data. Accelerometer range is +/- 4G.
The sensor is zero’d each time it’s powered on OR can be configured to “zero” whenever a CAN message is received from the the ECU: for example, zero the ACAS-X whenever you press the trans brake button. This uses all the normal onboard logic and I/O configuration on the MaxxECU: no configuration of the ACAS-X is required.
