Product Description
RIFE 52-1044 Driveshaft Speed Sensor Ferrous Tooth Hall Effect M12 x 1.5
Racing Use Only, Not Legal for Road Use
Sensor Information/Instructions: Click Here
Note: This RIFE Hall Effect Ferrous trigger wheel is designed for metal triggering (not magnetic).
After years of success with our RIFE / TBM front true zero-speed wheel speed sensor we set out to utilize the same sensor components in a package usable for pinion mounted driveshaft sensor speed.
This M12x1.5 threaded sensor is identical to the previously utilized Red / Cherry Hall effect sensor found in legacy Motion driveshaft sensor kits.
Features:
- True Zero Speed Ferrous Tooth Speed Detection
- High Accuracy
- Low Jitter Data
- Accurate up to 12,000 rpm with 60-2 pickup.
- 0-5V or 0-12v Sensor Capability
- M8 Quick Connect Cable
- CNC machined steel body resists crushing or stretching when compared to aluminum sensor bodies.
- Dimple alignment machined into sensor to identify orientation of Hall Effect IC in sensor body.
- Each sensor tested before packaging.
- Includes LED 25 ft cable for direct wiring to ECU.
- Designed, Machined, Assembled, Tested in house at Motion Raceworks in Dewitt, IA.
Included:
- Driveshaft Sensor
- (2) M12 x 1.5 Jam Nuts
- Shielded LED Lit Cable
LED Colors: These LED's provide status of the sensor and what it is currently sensing. When operating properly the LED will alternate between the two colors as the ferrous wheel turns.
- Green: Sensor has power / ground and is not sensing ferrous within range (sensor is not sensing a metal tooth).
- Yellow: Sensor is picking up ferrous tooth and sending peak signal to ECU.
Please note: These sensors are quality tested before shipment to provide an accurate and highly precise out of the box performance. Please visit Motion's FAQ for trouble shooting in relation to sensor signal and use.
Note: Due to availability domestically, RIFE sensors are designed and built in house with a mix of domestic and international sourced components.
