When does CAGS solenoid engage?
- When coolant temperature reaches 169 degrees
- When traveling between 15-19 mph
- When throttle is at 21% or less
What does CAGS do?
- Activates a solenoid behind the shifter preventing the transmission from being shifted into second or third gear.

Does not eliminate 1st gear to 4th gear shift light. It eliminates the check engine light when unplugging the CAGS sensor.
