Conversion lead Delco 10SI & other SI series alternators to CS130D & AD series WITH OUT RESISTOR.
For vehicles with a charging system warning light.
New “conversion lead” or " adapter " to use a CS130D, or AD series Delco alternator in place of a Delco 10SI, 12SI, 15SI, 17SI or 27SI Delco alternator.
Using this lead on a vehicle without a warning light or resistor will burn out the voltage regulator.
The CS & AD series alternators must have a resistor in series with the yellow wire on this adapter. If your vehicle has a warning light in the dash for the charging system, then you are good. The bulb is your resistor.
